About Sidemen Valley
Sidemen is the Bali that travellers dream about but rarely find — a lush valley of cascading rice terraces, traditional weaving villages, and dramatic views of Mount Agung that feels untouched by mass tourism.
Often called "the new Ubud" (or rather, what Ubud was 20 years ago), Sidemen offers the same spiritual, agrarian beauty but with a fraction of the visitors.
The valley is the centre of Bali's traditional ikat weaving tradition, and village walks through the terraces reveal a Bali where farmers still plant by hand and temple ceremonies punctuate daily life.
